i live in Los Angeles California in the United States and its nice meeting someone from France. Is France really nice ?

The beds are hard, the people rude and the politics appalling. I chose a country that gets on with people, is polite and OK the politics aren't great but they are much better and no where near so narcissistic.
Did you see the question on here a month ago? "What is the most hated race in the world?" 100 % of the answers were the French!!! I have lived in a number of countries and visited in excess of fifty all were much more polite and friendly than France. I regularly go to South Africa and have even been mugged there but I still feel very welcome there. I cannot help but feel that the French just do not want to be polite to anyone.
I got home on Monday having had a week in Portugal - very nice, friendly and polite people. A week in Spain probably even nicer. A week in the UK mostly polite people and a few nice ones. France? We were meant to spend a week there and left after three days!
You would do much better living in almost any other country.
