Fascism is a radical totalitarian political philosophy that combines elements of corporatism, authoritarianism, extreme nationalism, militarism, anti-anarchism, anti-communism and anti-liberalism, or socialism.

The original fascist (fascismo) movement ruled Italy from 1922 to 1943 under the leadership of Benito Mussolini. In time, the generic term fascism came to cover a class of authoritarian political ideologies, parties, and political systems. The most notable of these parties are the National Socialist German Workers Party (Nazi) under Adolf Hitler but also Hungary's Arrow Cross Party, Romania's Iron Guard, Spain's Falange and the French political movements led by socialists Marcel Déat and Jacques Doriot and others. Some authors reject this broader use of the term or exclude certain of these parties and regimes

Did that help?

Panacea is a moron.

Read his answer then read this actual Wikipedia definition:

Fascism did not evolve out of marxism... republicans will try any lie to cover up the truth about themselves. They remind me of Satan whispering in someone's ear with false promises of grandeur and lies about the good guy.

Fascism is one of the evil constructs that evolved from marxism. Fascism and its brothers, socialism, national socialism (nazism), communism and liberals have been responsible for most of the evil in modern times, particularly the cruel murder of hundreds of millions of innocent people in various genocides. Almost as important as the people who actually do the killing are the traitors and sympathizers in the normal countries of the world that work tirelessly to prevent the western world from intervening in this slaughter (not to mention all the other heinous evil they engage in).

The left has much to answer for.

It is defined as a right-wing (ultra-conservative) authoritarian hierarchical government, one opposed to democracy or liberalism.

In practice, it is a govt that cares more for maintaining its control over the people, than it does for the freedom and liberty of its people.
