The terrorist that attacked the WTC were fundamentalist jihadists. We attack them, not the mailine Muslims. Sorry that out President is a nutjob that would rather turn all the Muslims into Christians. Peace and love be with you.

Panacea has no clue.... He must have conveniently forgotten about Timothy McVeigh, the Unabomber, the Klu Klux Klan, the IRA & Sinn Fein in Northern Ireland? How about those people that gassed the subways in Japan?

It's laughably obvious that Muslims aren't the only one who commit terrorist acts. Would the Nazis have qualified? What do many Russians think of Putin's theatre fiasco, gassing all those civilians and refusing to tell hospital doctors what it contained? Communist China in Tibet? Well, you begin to see the picture...

Let's see, almost 20% of the world's population is Muslim. They are 2nd in numbers only to Christians, at around 33%. So it's apparent that the vast, vast, vast vast majority of Muslims are not running around blowing things up- it's a very tiny minority whose views aren't even consistent with the mainstream. Note that some of the terrorists aren't even really Muslim- Saddam Hussein was a SECULAR leader!!!

The problem is quite simply, that mainstream religious leaders in the Muslim community haven't been very active in denouncing terrorist acts when they occur- and this hurts the image of Islam worldwide. Americans see a clip of some people in Gaza celebrating when 9/11 happened and they think most of the Muslim world feels that way, which couldn't be further from the truth. But the silence from most religious leaders has been a problem, because when the voice of wacko terrorists is the only one that's heard, people assume that they speak for the entire faith.

In contrast, whenever some abortion doctor is shot or clinic firebombed by some supposedly Christian zealot, we see church leaders denouncing these actions on TV, on the radio, on talk shows etc. It's made abundantly clear to the world that such actions are NOT condoned.

The second problem is numbers- even 1% of 1.6 billion people is a lot of dangerous pyschos running around. But it doesn't change the fact that they are still 1%, we can't make policy that affects the other 99% and just chalk it up to collateral damage- that's like saying blowing all of Los Angeles is justified, because that's where almost all of the members of the Crips and Bloods are located.

The Bush administration has done a poor job of communicating that the war is with terrorists in those countries, not the countries themselves, with self-appointed radical Islamofascists and not Islam. His "with us or against us" line just made matters worse. Ultimately the defeat of radical Islamic terrorists will depend more upon mainstream Muslims than our military.

All muslims are not terrorists but all terrorists are 100% muslims. Do you have any doubt ? If yes, you are one of them.
And America and all like minded and terrorism affected countries would defend themselves by capturing or killing who? obviously muslim terrorists.
America went to Iraq to get rid of a killer dictator to protect Shias and Kurds from Sunni terrorism. And look now the same Shias are not at all grateful to America.

The reason America is going after Muslim terrorists so much is that most if not all of our terrorist problem has been the result of Muslim extremists. I'm not saying all Muslims are bad, but the Muslim terrorists, if you research it, are the ones who have the largest threat in American history.

Muslims are the only people committing terrorism. They are committing it in large quantities. They've always done it throughout history. And the entire muslim community supports that terrorism (not just with words but with money and other resources).

Terrorism most certainly is muslim.
