London has an extremely diverse scene, even for the younger person there's a huge choice.
I'd recommend taking a read through www.boyz.co.uk This is an online version of the local gay weekly magazine which is more focused on a younger audience.

Good question. I am going in the middle of October and looking for the same thing. Hopefully we will get some good ideas. I will be staying in SoHo and I hear that is where alot of good clubs/bars are located. Have fun!
