I have swollen and very tender breasts. When I eat I get queasy, and my emotions are crazy right now. I am suppost to have my period today...but I have had no signs of it, such as pre-cramps or spotting. Although...some of my symptoms can be related to periods, I have never had these symptoms. I am married and have been wanting to get pregnant...me an dmy husband just decided to not think about it and go day by day, and let it come naturally. So if anyone has had any of these symptoms, or have any advice...let me know. I dont want to tell my husband just yet until I know that they could be possible pregnany symptoms.

It is possible that they could be symptoms. The best way to tell is to get an at-home test or to go and see your doctor.

Your symptoms could be an indication of both a pregnancy and an oncoming period. Many of the early pregnancy symptoms are very similar to those of plain ol PMS. Worrying and wondering if you are can cause your body to believe that you are and can actually delay your period. The stress of not knowing causes many women to be late by a day or two and really get their hopes up. The best advice anyone can give you is to wait till you are 5-7 days late and test since stress usually causes it to only be late by a day or two. I wish you and your husband the best of luck in your attempts and I sincerely hope that you have succeeded this time.

If your period is due today then you should be able to go get a test at the drug store and test.......the symptoms sound pretty positive.....Go get a book called " what to expect when you are expecting" by Heidi Murkoff. It's the pregnancy bible and will help with all these questions. Your question as well as many others that you would not expect is in there. It's excellent in describing all of these little things that worry moms and help distinguish when something is "normal" or not.
Good Luck!

Here's an idea, there are about a hundred websites about pregnancy out there. Each one has a list of possible early pregnancy symptoms. Type "early pregnancy symptoms" on yahoo search and have fun!

Then go to the store and get a pregnancy test, if you are due to get your period, you are likely to get a positive result if you are in fact pregnant.

You should not hide what you are thinking and feeling from your husband. If you are thinking you might be pregnant, and are excited talk about it with him. Open communication and honesty are the things that feed healthy relationships!

The tender breasts are a very good early pregnancy sign. I also had a heightened sense of smell early on and most things made me nauseated just by the smell. Also, another early sign is being very tired. I didn't experience the emotional part, but I know it's also a sign. If you are scheduled to start today, you can take an hpt. Good luck!

I was in your same boat when I found out I was pregnant. You obviously have pregnancy symptoms but I would wait to spread the new just now. Wait at least a week or two until you take a blood test or accurate HCG urine test with your doc. I took a preg. test too early and it was negative...then 2 weeks later...TA-DAA!!!

i agree with waiting to tell u hubby, no reason to get his hopes up ,those are the most common symptoms, i have 3 kids, and have waitd til 2 weeks late before ive taken a test. they say the test are acurate up to 5 days before you miss, but thats not true, the hormone that the test look for is not as high , so its best to wait til the levels are high enough to be detected

Yep, kinda sounds like it and fits the description. Go get a stick and pee on it. (home pregnancy test). By now the test will detect it if you are. Good luck and I wish you the best. An early congrats if you are
