It grows naturally, it is way less of a downer for your lungs; I mean when I TOKED the SENSUAL HERB, I could smoke like 3 grahms and go CYCLE/ pedal my bike for 100 miles...NO PROBLEM.
But if I smoke just one CANCER STICK/ CIGARETTE, DUDE like I am huffin and puffin and can barley even ride, breath, etc...

I agree with most of you, like 95% of you or more.
I love the answer that it should just be,
(Well short term memory loss)
what did you say...Basically NEUTRAL.
I think there are people who get TOO FREAKED OUT, OR WEIRD ON IT...
But most people I knew growing up JUST CHILL when they SMOKE A LITTLE WEED.
I really do not want the GOV. to regulate/ CONTROL it.
But the way it is, it COST way too D A M N much money.
I can say I did get at least PSYCHOLOGICALLY ADDICTED, 4 awhile.
Had to have it all day everyday, and I would get really mad without it.
And I was paying full price!!!
my one ,"GOOD FRIEND" (A_HOLE)of like 15 yr's. gave me a real F-d up deal...like 2.0 G's for 45 bucks.
My other friend said, you need to say something, yeah I got my 1.0 extra, for $45.00.
Thats cause I was so afraid to get an Oz. & SELL like (however you guys do it) and keep like 1/4 for stash.
F * C K !!!!!
I want to smoke!
only 2 (re) LAPSES...
I been clean 4 like 4Mo

LIKE I said, i used to smoke when younger, from like 13 on, well off and on...
Actually it only got to be HARD CORE after the age of 15...
Dude if you want to ESCAPE for a little while WEED is way better than any, ANY freakin' so called ANTI- DEPRESSANT.
I never heard of anyone ,"killing themselves" from too muck weed/ O.D., there is NO SUCH THING!!!
Nor has anyone, "Missed their weed dose" and GONE OUT on a killing spree.
Well okay, like I said, sometimes Iwould start climbing up the walls without it.
If It were LEGAL, I would have it growing in and outdoors, and I for one do not think it would be such a big deal.
HALF THE REASON I SMOKED IT WAS TO SAY...
F U C K YOU UNCLE SAM.
F U C K your rules and F U C K E D up regulations.
"DEMOCRACY"??
More like DICTATORSHIP!!
FREE COUNTRY...B U L L S H I T !!

hi Lissy...
You know some people actually function ,"normally on pot.
Work, play, drive, outdoors...
Oh yeah, there have been a couple of occasions, before I felt I needed to stop tokin, where I was pretty sure I shouldn't have been driving...
But that was just due to the PURE PARANOIA, associated with its ILLEGALITY.
If weed wasn't illegal I do not think people would get all paranoid on it...
Unless they were going around people who are against it...
Well, for your stomach, I hope it helps.
and whoever said AMNESTY, I think that is EXACTLY what we need for the NATURAL WEED...
I haven't toked in at least a month and a half.
Sometimes I miss it.
But it was taking me down a road I didn't want to go down, so I gave it up...
Probably not forever...Happy 420 to the rest who are still TOKIN...
My favorite time to TOKE was out in the WILDERNESS, or at the OCEAN, DESERT...
All the wilderness.
or while ROCKHOUNDING, nothin' like a toke when digging a hole for crystals all day. DJ

It should not be legalized...it should be given amnesty...this poor plant has been persecuted for far too long! The original illegalization was a farce of ignorance & then stupidity...it's continuance as such was solely for profit to the system...to legalize it waylays those facts.
I vote amnesty...an apology to this being for it's unjust defilement amidst the thousands of ethnobotanicals that are present & usable in this Creation. It deserves to be set free amongst the rest.

If Cigarettes are legal then Marijuana should be legal. The question more people should be asking is why it is illegal. Is it intoxicating? No more than alchohol. Is it addictive? No more than cigarettes, and usually a great deal less so. Does it have health benefits? YES.
Researchers are allowed to do research on most controlled substances, yet research is not allowed at all unless conducted at a Federally funded lab, and then under very strict conditions, even more strict that those of doing research on Cocain or Heroin. Why? The answer is simple. Follow the money. Who loses the most if Marijuana is made legal? The answers to that question will amaze you.

For medical reasons without a doubt I have a lot of stomach problems that weed can cure.
But I think if it was freely available many people would just sit about all day doing pot, many people would be calling in sick at work and just sitting about getting high. At the same time the same can be said for booze and its stupid that its still so illegal maybe invent a new Class D level of drugs..

Yes. They will never stop people from smoking it. It's actually creating more crime (people will always break stupid laws). Also, it's way safer than alcohol. I know I function better when I'm high than when I'm drunk. And whens the last time you saw someone get violent or belligerent because they were stoned? Someone told me they won't legalize it because the government can't make money off it since it is so easy to grow. Regardless, I like to smoke it and that's the main reason I want it legalized.

It comes from nature yes. so does arsenic which can kill you, in moderate doses.Lungs...i would disagree, marijuana has more tar then tobacco and makes you more vunarble to throat and lung infection it is also related to small non cancerous tumors.
The issue to me as a toker and a med student is why drugs such as tobacco and alcohol which dont do anything productive for you at all are legal.
And drugs that make you realize various truths and spiritual experiences are illegal.
I had four ounces of shrooms one day which is considered a brave dose lol. i just sat in a field of grass realizing that we are all one and that we are gods children and that in fact we are not separate from him and that i love the fact i exist.
....yeah that sounds dangerous imagine the economy if everyone would realize that we are all one ha!.
in my personal opinion marijuana shouldn't be legalized society is fu-cked as it is and only the deserving should experience with psychoactive substances.

Hell yeah...Marijuana gives you about the same effect as Alcohol. And Tobacco kills Millions a Year. The draw back reason they don't is the Taxing. It's doubles as a Medicine, Which is not taxed. Marijuana would sale more then Automobiles, and the Government WONT SEE A PENNY.

marijuana is the most commonly uses illegal substance in the United States. it is used by many people, most of which aren't your stereotypical "druggie", with no life agead of them. Many of them hapen to be very successful, good people. Think about it almost if not every person who reads this paper will know (even if they don't realize it) at least one if not several regular users of marijuana. Its often made out to be much more harmful htan it really is, unfortunatly not every one realizes this.
What many people don't realize is marijuana is much less harmful than alcohol or tobacco. Yet it's the one of the three that gets a bad rap and is illegal. Marijuana isn't even physicaly addicting. You certanly don't see meetings for marijuana like you do with alcohol and AA. Unfortunatly due to American culture the less harmful of the three is illegal.
The most common reason why marijuana can be harmful is that people can often come across laced marijuana without realizing it. Marijuana can easily be mixed with other more harmful drugs with out the buyer realizing it, until they have already used it. This is a dangerous thing that causes many people to do more harmful, hard core drugs without realizing it. If it were to be legalized the government could provide guide lines, like it does with alchol to insure that people knew what they were putting into their bodies.
Marijuana actually has many helpful benefits toward diseases / sicknesses. Marijuana can reduce nausea, vomiting, and loss of appetite caused by AIDS. It can Reduce interlobular pressure, which alleviates the pain and slowing and sometimes even stopping the progress of glaucoma. Common side effects of chemotherapy are nausea, loss of appetite, and vomiting, all of which marijuana would help. It can limit muscle pain and relieve tremor nad unsteadiness of gait for multiple sclerosis patients. Marijuana can help prevent epileptic seizures in some patients. It can also alleviate chronic, often debilitating pain caused by myriad disorders and injuries. Each one of these applications have been deemed legitimate by at least one United States court, legislature, and/or government agency.
Due to these reasons and many others many people are going to jail/prison on a daily basis due to simply smoking a little pot These aren't dangerous criminals that would kill or rape someone. Many of them are teachers, lawyers and respected members of their communities. But yet we still pay thousands of dollars of tax payers money to lock up non dangerous "criminals" yearly even though most aren't going to stop after they get out of jail. Don't you think the money spent here is a waste? Couldn't it be going to more useful things such as hospitals, disease research, or better schools? These are the things that would benifit the people of this country. Certanily you would rather benefit the people more than throwing a non violent pot head in jail who was only trying to smoke a joint and relax after a long days work in jail. There is up to forty million regular (note thats just the regular not occasional users) drug users in the United states. If we were to throw all of them in jail it would cost $500,000 per million people, plus the cost and space of building many more prisons. Couldm't that money be spent on building hospitals? There's already about 1.5 million people tax payers are paying to keep in jail over drugs. From 1990 to 2003, nearly 5.9 million people had been arrested for smoking marijuana. Thats a greater number than the entire population of Alaska, Delaware, The District of Columbia, Montania, North and South Dakota, Vermont, and Wyoming combined. This country simply can't afford to put 40 million more in jail.
Marijuana should be legalized. It has many uses such as helping sick patients. People are going to smoke it no matter what the government sais, and with out govenment guidelines this can be dangerous. Not to mention the fact that we have no way we can afford to throw all those people in jail. Its much less harmful than alcohol and tobacco, which are legal, so doesn't it make sense that it would be also?

If everyone smoke the stuff then maybe we wouldn't be so damn ornary. Maybe there would be no wars. Maybe we would all get along and be good to each other. We could all grow it ourselves and it wouldn't have to be in stores and cost us an arm and a leg. I think I would love that.

It should be legalized. It is much less hard on your body as cigarettes and alcohol. Also, it would free up a lot of space in our prison system. If it is legalized, there would be a huge new source of tax revenue.
