Let's say that your bf/gf just had major surgery and was not able to go anywhere becasue of the pain, you were invited to go out with some friends to a concert, knowing that your bf/gf was in pain and needed you there to take care of them, would you still go out with your friends or stay home and take care of them?

You can't just leave him or her there. Thats like a stab in the back when they are already down. Thats what friends are for this is time of need and you can't blow it off for a stupid concert

If the person really means something to you... then you should stay and comfort them as best as you can... There will always be times to go out places... If not like you're missing a life altering event by skipping a concert... Also friends that would insist that you go with them under these circumstances... aren't true friends at all...

well do you love your bf/gf??? do they have anyone else to take care of her?? if not, your obliged to stay cause your her/his other half. If you don't like it break off the relationship.. your girlfriend/boyfriend just had MAJOR sugery when is that ever going to happen next?? There will be another concert some other day.

Depends on how much I liked them..
If it were someone that I was considering spending my life with, and I honestly cared about their well being, then I would stay, no questions asked.
But If I were looking for a good opportunity to be dumped, then I would hike up the skirt, put on my best shoes, get my nails and hair did, and go out on the town, and blow a kiss on my way out, being sure not to leave anything I really liked on my way out-tie!!

no stay and take care of him, you can go to concert any time but you can't show you are a loyal, compassionate bf/gf any time.

I would stay home. It would just be rude to be out having fun knowing they are home and in pain.

I not only would - I did. Hey, he could get to the bathroom and make a sandwich. I also went to work. Not to say I was totally unsympathetic but hey...I need/deserve a break too.
