Pluck, pluck, pluck away. I'm 22 and I get them. And I never had 7 grow in from where I've plucked one out. It happens cause of a lot of things.

Well I think everyone even as young as 25 gets a grey hair every now and then but it is more noticeable if you have very dark har. I would pluck it out.I don't really believe all that stuff about seven more will grow in it's place. It hasn't happened to me yet!

Not uncommon to start finding them in your 20's. Yes you can pluck it out if you want. Don't believe the people that will tell you if you pluck it out more will replace it. That is not true. It just seems that way once we notice them. It happens when our body slows down the production of pigment in our hair.

My boyfriend started going gray at 23. He is now 28 and I would say he is about 1/4 gray. Stress and gentics play the most major part! Did you mom get gray earlier, or your dad. I think stress is my boyfriend's major problem.
You can pluck them out but chances are they will just grow back. If they get to much you may have to opt for coloring or highlighting!! That's what my mom does. I have no idea when she started but she doesn't look gray at all!

Genetics and aging.... The real issue is how are you going to deal with it? If your appearance and ego are too important, you'll be freaking out about it. However, if you're happy with yourself, you'll take in in stride, pluck it or color your hair.
Don't worry about it though. At least you've got hair, right?

It's normal, you are just growing up, and some people get gray at 18! so dont worry! thats why Mrs. Clairol is here to help us... but just for one; I wouldnt color my hair. You are better off cutting them really short than pluck them, what happens is, when they grow back they stick out and you can see them more!.. so, just cut them short where you can hide them under other hair....

Its a gray hair scout! RUN THE REST OF THE ARMY ISN'T FAR BEHIND!!!
It's farily normal though, I was 20 when I found my first gray. Haven't seen any since, which is good, but it's only been about 6 months, it was around last Christmas.

Did your parents get gray hairs early? My sister had gray hair when she was also in her 20's....it's hereditary, she plucked hers out for awhile and then started Miss Clairol!!
