That is a good question that deserves a lengthy debate, however given this time and space I will just say that in my opinion ANYONE who does harm to a child should be eliminated from this planet!
Why the heck should we PAY to keep that kind of scum alive, allowing him to live better than some of the struggling population in our countries?
As for the serial killers and psychos they too should be GONE!
Some of "these people" have been given the chance of rehabilitation only to be let loose and continue their spree of murder and torture.
Society protects the criminal. . . I say its time it protected the victims.

Child molesters, especially, I think should be locked away. They are the most likely of all criminals to be repeat offenders. I think much more research should be done in these fields to try to find a medication or something to cure their diseases. They must be mental to commit such crimes. As far as 'eliminating' them from society...I don't think that's ethical. Would we be any better of people for killing them? Wouldn't that make us the murderers? As for serial killers and rapists...the punishment should fit the crime. I do believe in the death penalty in some cases, ie. when it is CERTAIN that the alleged criminal did in fact murder someone. There are always exceptions...I wouldn't want to see someone put to death that had suffered years of abuse at another persons hands and then murdered them in a 'crime of passion'. If it's premeditated murder, certainly.

It is not possible...I may sound unusual but it is true.
These people r not so by birth...but circumstances make them inhuman..or I would say the faulty society makes them so...so how can the culprit play th role of a judge.
V must instead try 2 find out th causes that leads them 2 do this n then try 2 eliminate that frm th society....v wil b being inhuman n indifferent frm them by being cruel 2 them

Reading some of the answers is scary. "look at their good side"????? Makes no difference. The list you gave have no place among the public and should never be allowed to get out. Humane treatment - YES.

If they are guilty by 100% - then yes..
We should execute them & charge the family for the bullet or allow a family member to pull the switch or decide the execution for the convict.
