Tigers? Like I haven't heard that one before. Nothing but a bunch of bandwagon bullshit. Oh I like the Tigers this year, I liked the White Sox last year and the year before that I liked the Red Sox
Come on people stick with one team or else your not even loyal baseball fans for that matter.

i would say the yankees judging by talent. they can field, they can hit, they have a good starting rotation although it can be streaky, a solid bullpen, and they wear down pitchers. it is also very hard to picth to them because you can't intentionally walk their big hitters to get to another hitter because they have so many quality hitters in their lineup. if the yankees and tigers meet up in the ALCS, i would pick the yankees in 7 games based on the fact that the tigers are inexperienced, young, swing and miss a lot, and their younger pitchers are worn down. many people don't know that the minor league schedule ends around labor day, where starting pitchers throw only around 150 innings. the yankees have pitchers who can pitch 200 innings without any problems.

Tigers... i'm partial cause i'm from Michigan and currently they do own the best record... but there's a lot more season left & they're a fairly young & inexperienced team.. Thus far i'm happy with their progress and the season.. and i'm looking forward to the playoffs with high hopes. If their pitching holds up, I think they'll go far.

Depends on your definition of "best".
If you are talking Win / Loss records, currently it is Detroit.
If you are talking on the field talent, definitly the Yankees !
