Yes. Love is a choice, "for richer, or poorer, in sickness and in health," and in spite of conflicts over our last 14 years I've decided to remain faithful and continue pursuing her instead of anyone else. I've always said, "Why look for expensive hamburger somewhere out in the world when there is porterhouse steak you've already paid for in your house?" In the good times she's really good, and in the bad times she's frequently better.

It's getting ever easier in the modern era of bigger, badder diseases, and weirdo stalkers, to make the decision to stay that way. And then there's reality TV. Imagine having the Cheaters show broadcast your infidelity and exposing all your lies on national TV and causing you to lose your spouse AND your girlfriend.

Not to mention the cost of alimony and child support and women hooking up with other guys who live off of the cheater's income. There's a country song called "When You Were Cheating" about that one.

It's ALWAYS better, safer, cheaper, and much less complicated to remain faithful.

I haven't always been, but realized it's not fair to drag somebody else into my unhappiness. I'm faithful now, but only after learning the hard way that cheating is not worth it.

What is your definition of faithful? I have never had sex with anyone outside of my marriage. I love my husband dearly. I have had to protect my mind and eyes from wandering outside of our marriage. It's a daily battle to keep my focus on my husband and give him my ultimate best in everything - sex, conversation, encouragement, meals, clean house, respect, presentation of myself, and prayer. The more I spend time with him the more I am in love with him and can't imagine my life without him. But I believe faithfulness goes beyond just not having sex outside of marrige it is also not letting your mind and heart to be given to someone else. Your spouse deserves the best from you and you deserve the best from them.

yeah. it aint worth it to cheat. u gotta remember the lies and cant look at ur partner with a clear conscious. we live in a spoiled society influenced by the worst possible role models. theres nothing wrong at all with being an honest person able to keep a comittment.
