how do i know if i have a network adapter?**

lol ppl i knew i ahd a ethernet card i forgot that that is a netowrk adapter lol i ahve one in all my computers lol im so dum at times!

Right click on My Computer and then click Properties. Go to the Hardware tab and click Device Manager. You should see a section called Network Adapters...expand it and see if there is anything listed that looks like one. Also, you could look on the back of your comptuer and if you see a port that looks like a big telephone jack, that is it.

look at the jacks on your computer.
you see the one that looks like phone cord will go in?
check it to see if its wider than a phone cord.

if its the same size its a modem
if its a bit bigger
its an ethernet adapter.

Well, if you are using the Internet odds are you have a network adaptor. The Internet is just one big network.
