How about some details? What country and city? How big a whouse do you wish to purchase? What age house would you be willing to settle for? Are you willing to buy an older house in need of repair or do you require a house that has already been renovated? I am sure that you get the picture.

A victorian in San Francisco might cost millions of dollars while the same house in a small midwest town may cost a small fraction of that amount. A house in need of extensive renovation will be cheaper to buy but will require a lot of money and work to bring up to modern specs.

As you can see, there is no definitive answer to your question based on the information you have provided.

Good luck with your search for information.

It would reallllly depend.......

Location
Age
Condition
Acreage

It is a very hard question to help answer..... with so little information =) Try looking at listings in your area for the type of house you want, and begin making notes as of where it is int he city, and what it has to offer.

Best of Luck

Ask the freeholder who's stressful the hearth alarm. If the council is making him do it, it is right down to him except your hire says in any different case, wherein case the value may be shared between each and all the leaseholders.
