Where I am for right now for sure. Married 27 years to my man and we are so in tune with each other and so close I would never want to go back to being newlyweds. When newlywed you argue about the stupidist things and feelings get hurt all the time and you are still learning that life is not all about me. You are so possessive of one another you cannot even go to dinner without an arguement about how long he looked at the waitress/her at the waiter.

Hmmm, good question. Being newlyweds was romantic and new however I love the stage I am in my marriage now - 8 years later - as we have learned compromise and a deep love for each other. We still have the passion and we are also best friends! We have 3 kids now and I wouldn't trade that either! So honestly I prefer where we are right now in our marriage! Great queston!

Where we are right now, b/c we never really were newlyweds in the popular sense of that word. We were technical newlyweds but we didn't act it. We really are more in love now than we ever were back then. Our relationship is so much better now.

I will let you know when we don't feel like newlyweds. Only been married 22 years so far. We are still acting like newlyweds. Don't plan on stopping either

While it was fun being newlyweds, I rather enjoy the comfort that the long-term marriage gives to me. It takes a while to build up solid trust and understanding in your spouse.
