its one of my favourite films as she is my fave actress
she was also in parent trap, pollyanna and the trouble with angels
which are all great films aswell

I think its because they are complimented by families, friends and others alike about there physical features; thus expected to live a higher standard in looking after their apperance. And when i mean higher standard, i mean, expensive clothes, jewllery, make up etc... They often think theyre ugly at times because sometimes they will tend to have personal expectations and when they dont fulfil it (even to the slightest wrong doings,) they exaggerate.... Or, there could be other reasons such as criticism from others and competition with other girls.. hope this helps

I don't think it was actually from a film. If I remember rightly it was a song written for Disney for their parades as that is when it first appeared. It has also been used by Disney in several films and compilations, and also features on the Tweenies regularly.
