There should be several doubles. You need to draw 9 dominos to begin. Someone put down a double and that is where you start. You need to play a domino that has the same number as the double to start. This does not have to be a double. Then you contiune to play off the line you have started making sure the next domino you put down has one side that matches the one in the line. Say you have a double 3, you must play a domino with a 3 on it, say it has 3 and 5. Make sure the 3's touch. The next on you play has to have 5 on it, and so one. If you don't have anything to play draw a domino, if you still don't have anything to play, you need to say I am open. This means that others can play on your line. But once you get something to play on your own line, then say I am closed. Whoever says they are open, you can play on their line anytime it is open, even when yours is close. **When you play a double in the line say after the 3/5, you have a double 5, you have to play twice, either place another 5 on your line, or play on someone open line, if you don't have anything else to play, draw a domino.
The first one to get rid of all their dominos wins. But if your last piece is a double, you have to draw and play the 2 domino, you can't win with a double.
I hope this breaks it down for you. Once you get the hang of the game, look at all you dominos to see how many you already have to play in your line, after the double in laid down. This is the trick my hubby and I use against our family. None of them do this.
There are several different sets of Dominos. My hubby and I have a very large set.

Well, I play Domino's on my dad's laptop in the Hoyle games section. The way they play is each player chooses 7 dominos that are face down. Then the one with the double 6 starts off and plays it in the middle of the table up right with numbers showing.
Then the next person goes. the play a domino that has at least one 6 on it and it plays perpendicular.
The next person to play can again play a domino that has a 6 on the other side or match the 2nd domino played. If the player has a doulbe number that matches a domino that is perpendicular to the 6 then it gets played up and down for example:
6|____| 4 |
| 6 4| |
6|____| 4 |
Does that make any sense?
Then to score: it is one point for the person who wins that round.
How to win: Run out of tiles first.
If you cannot play with the tiles in hand you may takes as many dominoes as needed that are face down until such time as you can play....each turn must be played!

directions~ ok first you start with mixing around the dominoes, then you pick 7 dominoes. Then you ask who has the double 9, and who ever has it starts the game. After you put the double 9 down you go clockwise with turns. Then what happeneds is if you don't have any of the numbers then you pick from the dog pile. Which is the rest of dominoes no one picked from. If you don't get it on the first one you pull then you have to keep pulling. Once you finally get it then you put it on the board. Then if there is no more you have to skip your turn. then who ever wins the opponet(s) have to mix the dominoes again. Next who ever won the 1st round doesn't have to put the double 9 they can put whatever one they want.
scoring~ for scoring you can only get multiples of 5. now if all the sides equal 5 you draw a vertical line,if you get ten then you draw two
lines then if you get 5 again then you draw a circle if you get a 10 again you draw an x. The game of dominoes goes to 150.

the best i have is these rules for a normal game i think : The rules of Dominoes in this implementation are very simple. There are 28 dominoes, from double-blank to double-six. You and your opponent each start with seven. The highest double goes first, or lacking one, the highest point total. Players then take turns playing one domino next to a matching number on one already played. If you can't play, you must pick from the stock, and when the stock is exhausted, you pass. The winner is either the first to get rid of all one's dominoes, or the one with the smallest point total when both players have passed.
i doubt it will help, but goodluck!

Well we play "big 6" which is double 6. If some doesn't have double 6 you go through each double until someone can play(5, 4, 3, 2, 1). Like everyone else said you match up the dots of your domino to the ones on the board. To score you have to make the edges a multiple of 5. But to get on the board you need 10. When it is your turn to play and you can't make a match you pull from the "dog pile" until you can play. The objective is to be the first one with all the "bones" out of your hands. Once someone wins the round everyone else counts whats left in their hands, add it up, round it to the nearest 5, and adds it the player score of who just won the round.

I love to play dominos, and just learned on pogo.com where there are free games or you can pay to become a member and play more games. Anyway, in dominos the end pieces have to add up to a mulitple of 5 to score points. (5, 10, 15, etc.) and the first to get to 100 wins. It's that easy.
