I can't sleep for nothing I'm having A c-section on the 31st and I have so many things going through my mind. I had A ultrasound done A few days ago and It was A 4d ultrasound and I showed It to my mom and she asked what is wrong with her face I guess because the picture seems to look like she has lumps on her face that really hurt my feeling what kind of mother says that I already have enough to worry about. If something was wrong with her face the doctor would of told me right?

Yes there are risks involved with cesareans, but that is why there is a medical TEAM inside the delivery room with you and your doctor, honey. I had 2 myself, and the scars that I have are NOTHING compared to the amount of love those babies have brought me! As for the ultrasound, it is scary when you see them sometimes, and yes they are intended to tell you if the baby is growing and developing on a normal scare, but alot of times they are distorted and can give momma a lil scare! If something was wrong with that bundle of joy in your baby, they would have sent you for more intensive tests right then.

Now for the sleeplessness...Im sure alot of it has to do with the impending delivery, the thoughts your mother planted in your head, etc...You need to just calm down and remember that all that stress can be bad for the baby. There arent alot of sleep meds out there that you can take while your expecting, but your doctor may be able to give you something just to calm you a bit. Just keep in mind that the delivery will be over before you know it, and no matter what, you are going to have a beautiful new baby to hold and love like you never thought possible! HAPPY THOUGHTS HONEY!

Don't worry about the c-section; it will be fine. I had a little boy by c-section back in May and it was over and done in 45 minutes. As far as the ultrasound, try not to worry, the doctor would have told you if she suspected something was not right with you little one - that is what they are there for... If you noticed the spots on the ultrasound at the office, did you ask what they were? I am sure the ultrasound tech could have reassured you as well. If you are still really concerned -call your doctor and have her ease you mind. There is no reason to go into the birth or even spend another day with this anxiety. You need to try and get some rest before the baby gets here. Hope this helps and congrats and good luck!

Honey, relax, everything is fine. Those ultrasounds are not meants to show that type of detail. Your baby is fine. The C-Section is a good thing, and your mom should be more considerate of your feelings especially since your going to have your baby soon. If there was ANYTHING wrong with your baby, the doctor would have to tell you, that's what they are there for. They are not allowed to keep anything away from you, so you are right, if there was anything they suspected was wrong, they would have told you, anything, minor or major. Enjoy your baby.

First off that was very inconsiderate of your mother to say. She should apoligize. You need to relax because all of this tension you are feeling...your baby is feeling. Everything is going to turn out okay. I'm sure the doctor would have said something to you if your baby had lumps in her face. I had a c- section but it wasnt scheduled. I wish you the best and enjoy these last few days of pregnancy.

Don't worry, dear. Ultrasounds make the baby look funny alot of the time. The baby is moving around in there and it can blur on the picture. If there was anything wrong the doctor surely would have told you.
I'm sorry your mother hurt your feelings.

don't worry sweetie. i have had two c sections and they both went fine. in fact, i'm greatful that, as a diabetic, sections are my only option. the only hard part is the recovery, but you will have a beautiful baby, so it will all be worth it. and yes, if there was something wrong with your child, the doctor would have told you. you have nothing to worry about, you can't let other people's diarrhea of the mouth bother you. she shouldn't have said that, but we all make mistakes, just know that you will soon be blessed with a wonderful life!

If there was anything wrong with the baby the doctor would have told you. Don't worry about it! It could have just been the angle at which the baby was laying at that made it look weird. Don't worry about the c-section either. Worrying wont make it go away! I assure you there is probably nothing wrong with your baby!

If there was something wrong, I'm sure the doctor would have notified you right away. Ultrasounds aren't the prettiest pictures, but it's something you can have forever. I still have my daughter's from 17 years ago! I'm sure your delivery will be fine and you'll have a beautiful baby daughter. God Bless and Congratulations!!!

Why are you having a C section? Did you take childbirth classes outside a hospital? Maybe you can take some time to research the reasons why someone is telling you to have a C section while you're waiting. If there's a solid reason for it, you'll find it and feel better. Otherwise you have time to cancel it and let nature takes it course.
