I am 36 weeks pregnant, and my midwife has diagnosed carpal tunnel syndrome. Today I was reading and my eyesight went funny in my left eye (like i'd been looking into a bright light). This lasted about 5-10 mins. I lay down and my eyesight returned to normal, but then my left hand went completely numb, this only lasted about 5 mins, which was then followed by numbness in my lips and then tongue. This only lasted about 2-3 mins, but was quite scary! Just wondered if anyone else had experienced symptoms similar? and could it be linked to my CPS?

Call your OB GYN and talk to the nurse there

You're probably fine. Try to stop focusing so much on it; get busy with something like the baby's new room. This happens when many women are nearing the end of pregnancy. Ask a doctor if you're really worried. Good luck.

Yes, it is linked to pregnancy and the extra blood and fluid in your body as well as your ligaments relaxing. The other symptoms are side effects, too.

You should talk to your doctor about the numbness that doesn't sound good.
