If you are in possession of this animal maybe you should donate it to a local zoo.

The Clouded Leopard is not a small cat, but the smallest of the big cats and different enough ... and they are reported to be aggressive and not amenable to taming ...

Yes, and No. If you have raised it from a cub yes. But then again, instincts can take over once and awhile, no matter how well bonded you are. If you just took it out of the wild, one you had no business in doing so, and two, you can tame anything thats wild, BUT it would take along time in doing so, and would cause stress to the animal.

Taming wild cats involves rearing them from birth and handling them extensively every day. Even then they aren't considered "tame," but rather "manageable." Think of common housecats that sometimes get ticked off and lash out. Now imagine a leopard getting ticked off... not quite as "Manageable."

No, this is a wild animal! They are a VERY HIGH maintenance animal and require lots of care. They are very dangerous. Yes, they are beautiful. But they belong in the wild. Unless it's a rescued one, then it belongs with people that do this sort of thing. Like an animal rescue resort. And you have to have an exotic liscense to own such an animal. So please don't ever attempt to own any exotic animal.

No. Leopards are not ever to be housepets. The basic nature of a leopard will rule.

I would tame and befriend some sort of wild cat because I would love to set it on the postman, just to see their reaction.
