why do some of you people have the most rude comments to peoples questions??? why are you so mean to them?

I have wondered that too. It is pretty sad isn't it.
I wonder if they have very low self image and they try to make themselves feel better than others by putting them down. Or perhaps they have never heard the term "you catch more flies with honey" Because if they really do want to help someone by answer their questions a kind answer is way more likely to be taken as good advice than a nasty sarcastic one.

A lot of the times the questions are ones that you see repeated ever 2 seconds, or theyre questions better left for a doctor, or else theyre vulgar questions asked by creepy teenagers looking to get off on someones responce.
Other times theyre just really stupid questions, and the implication that the person asking them is unable to think enough to come up with such an obviously simple answer is disturbing and upsetting to the people leaving answers.

some people can't fathom the possibility that there are other ways to living life than "their" way....
it's a shame, but people can be very judgemental and closed-minded.
it's a hazard of posing questions on here.
i had to delete a question the other day b/c i was getting these horrible repsonses that were soooo off the mark.
people were telling me what a bad dog owner i was just b/c i wanted to figure out how to get our dog to leave us alone long enough to go to the bathroom, paint our nursery or even, well, have some alone time together! people kept telling me that we never should have gotten a dog if we didn't want him around!!!
anyway....i'm getting off the subject....
also, some people just put up crap answers to get 2 points.
one thing i do appreciate is that bad answer rating. if you rate someone's answer as thumbs down, then it minimizes their answer, so it's not glaring at you when you read through your answers....it's kind of like ingnoring it.
take care...and you're not alone in your feelings. however, we have to remember that everyone is entitled to their opinions...hard to remember, but true:)

unfortunately lots of people who are answering questions are very rude and dont care. They think that answering smart alecky and stupid makes them better. Others only answer so they can get points. It is amazing how some people have nothing better to do than be a jerk. (this has happened to me with some of my own questions).
People need to understand that the whole reason people ask questions on this Yahoo Answers is SO that they can get constructive advice.

I usually don't intentionally act rude... sometimes it's hard to tell if the Asker is serious or not. It's also hard to understand the Q if there are words spelled wrong, sentence make-up is inaccurate, or if the Q is in the wrong category.
Some people are just trolling for points, though, and trying to be funny.

Because some people believe that they are better then others and that everyone should just know everything there is to know about babies. They are called "know it alls" and have nothing better to do then to harass people and make them feel like crap. Just remember to blow these people off and always remember there is no such thing as a stupid question! (unless the question is just stupid like how do I light my baby on fire)

I think mostly just to get those two points, I try to be honest and make myself feel like I am intelligent with a good answer. sorry for the wiener's. I get rude answers too. Dont take it personal,

I try to be nice as can be and those who are nasty and mean should kiss our butts!!
People ask questions because the only STUPID question is the ONE not asked...
We should all try to be nice when responding to questions...

because some people maybe just do it to get a laugh out of it, or maybe they misunderstand the question and provide an answer that doesn't make sense
