Well I don't know how young your wife is. If you married her right out of her parents house she may not have the wifey skills yet, which is natural. She needs to get use to the idea that mommy or even a housekeeper isn't there to pick up after her anymore. She will catch on after a while. Tell in a very nice way, maybe show her that you both will have to work together to clean up.
good luck

I'm sure that she does really. Maybe she just doesn't want to. Perhaps she is lazy or just tired after a long day at work. Why not sit down with her and sort out who is going to do which job and when? With some kind of rota I'm sure you will get things back on track. Good luck!

im the same, im staying at my boyfriends house for a bit, and as much as i respect him and love him, im just so damn messy. Its cus im lazy.\\
People who arnt lazy... pick up after themselves.
People who are and who dont have much energy, or are very busy, dont have time, or just cant be bothered.
\
Try and tell her how much it frusrates you.
Or
My boyfriend bought a big plastic box, and wehenever i take something off, or chuck something on the floor, i put it in the box instead, that way the rooms still clean, and i know where everything is if i want to find it, and i can still be messy.
You should try it. it really works.

Maybe, an agreement needs to be made because ground rules have not been established. It may be that the ground rules she is following are those that require her to subordinate everything until trust and honor are promised.

Heck, everybody male or female should be able to pick and tidy up after themselves, that really annoys me, untidy people, tell her to, talk to her. good luck........
