I love the name Emma, my daughter is Emma Danielle Elizabeth.

I've always liked Emma for a name and it runs in my family, when I married my husband and found out that his mother's middle name was Emma that was it, if we had a girl her name was to be Emma. My husbands mother is thrilled that she has a granddaughter named after her.

It just sucks that the name Emma has become so popular, but I did ensure that her initials would spell EDEN. This way if she ends up in school with a bunch of Emma's she can go by Eden if she chooses.

Congratulations!

I love the name! A friend of mine named her baby Amelia and calls her Emma for short. Congradulations on the baby girl! I have three and they are alot of fun!

p.s Whatever name you choose will eventually grow on anyone who didnt like it at first until no one would want her to have any other name so dont let someone tell you what not to name your baby.

Personaly, I think Emma is a beautiful name. Look at Emma Sams or something from England..She's a wonderful actress and person.....besides, its traditional and victorian sounding. Congrats on your new baby girl.

Just like a previous post from a woman asking about the name Chloe...Emma is also becoming a very very popular name and I personally like it. I named my daughter Aliyah because it was unique and you rarely hear it. In the end it is your decision!
