In the past, I was also asking this question, "How do I get a girlfriend?"
I think that this question applies to both sexes. So in the end, we keep on asking and take no action. So one way of doing it is to ask the guy directly (if you are shy, you have to find an appropriate time)
But what I have observed is that a couple usually come together because of the environment (classmates in school, colleagues in a company, friends introducing friends at a gathering....get what I'm saying?)
It is seldom a case of directly approaching a stranger whom you secretly admire and then *blink*, a relationship develops.....even if a relationship does develop this way, it is usually short-lived.
Who knows, there may be a guy who is actually paying attention to you and for the same reasons, he has failed to take any actions.
So, why not look around your surrounding first? Any nice guy that you often in contact with? Find some excuses to do some activities together first, get used to each other and then if everything turns out fine .....by this time, usually you would have got yourself a boyfriend!

Find someone who doesn't usually go through more than one girl a week and ask him. Find someone who isn't going to hurt you so you won't feel the need to damage anything of his when you break up.
