If I bump my ankle now it brings tears to my eyes.And I have what feels like a charlie horse that has happened and is in the process of healing.Any help?

Ok heres the problem with X-ray if you had a slight fracture when you first went in the X-ray 90 percent of a chance wuld not have pickedit up being so small. Emergency rooms do not go into alot of detail with that stuff, if its not broken bad you go home, some doctors are like that also. My bet is that if you went back to the doctors and complained about the pain they are either going to find a small fracture or a bone chip, either way you need to get it looked at.

It is probably just a sprain. Take a magnet off your fridge and tie it with a sock around your ankle...the pain should be gone shortly.
Elevating and ice relieves it too.

Most likely due to bruising of tissue and bone.
