You should have discussed it with your mother before doing it if your underage, and maybe you could have seen a doctor before doing it to find out the risks associated and care after the fact. I remember being that young and dumb. I pity ya!

Tongue piercings WILL swell and often times be pretty painful for a few days. Because you have venoms, two off center tongue piercings, the swelling will be even more noticeable. However, this is normal. To help the pain fade, and the swelling go down, please make sure you're taking care of the new piercings properly. As other people have said, you should have discussed this with your parents before going through with it, but seeing as it's too late, you just need to take care of them.

I would recommend rinsing your mouth with Biotene, an antibacterial mouth wash available at CVS or the supermarket, twice a day, plus after each time you eat. Try to avoid hot food, spicy food, or very chewy food. Sucking on ice cubes should help as well. Make sure that you do NOT touch the piercings, or let anyone else touch them (that means no kissing until they heal as well).

Don't try to remove the piercings yet, as that will cause you a lot of pain and could make it impossible to get your tongue re-pierced later.

I seriously doubt its swollen to the point of not being able to close your mouth or you wouldn't be able to breathe as it is. A tongue piercing is going to swell, 2 tongue piercings are going to swell more. Also you pierced a muscle-there is bound to be a bit of blood. I'm sure your over-reacting. Ice and ibuprofen are the only things you can do to help at this point. Sure you can go to the emergency room and they'll prolly take 'em out w/ a lot of pain and 'your stupid' for doing this but why not just tough it out and in about 3 or so days your tongue is going to clam down. Why did you get it pierced if it was going to cause problems at home-are you not 18? If not how did u go get it pierced?

you should not have done that in the first place since ur mum will not like it when she finds out.moreover u should have known the sensitiveness of ur skin b4 taking that action.anyway, try seeing ur G.P or see a pharmasist 4 the best solution since u trying ur own medicaton may worsen the situation

sorry to tell you this but you need to go to the emergency room right away because your tongue could possible swell enough to block you from breathing.
it's possible they nicked a blood vessel inside your tongue, and this is a very dangerous time.
go to the emergency room, hun.

I'm a registered nurse and mother of 4 girls. Go.
