darkening of the skin in the underarms is a usual result of shaving. the hair also tends to grow faster and coarser.

this is why most asian women prefer waxing or plucking. the hair grows slower and finer.

If one discontinues using razor, the skin will usually return to its former color. But if you want faster results, you can try going to a salon and having a bleach or otherwise, buy a lightening cream and using it for a more gradual outcome.

Is your natural hair black? That may be the reason, and you might need to use a new razor blade because your razor might have gotten dull.

Try just using one or the other. The combination might been the cause of the discoloration.

Try it for 2 weeks and if it isn't better by then, go to a doctor or dermatologist and ask them.

Heard of Helmut Newton, the grand-daddy of sexy fashion photography? He said there is nothing sexier than a woman with dark circles under her eyes. And I can bet'cha that dark armpits are next. . .

Vit E and or aloe should help lessen the skin discoloring. I know Vitamin E helps lessen scaring tissue and fades it back to normal.
