You can not use both at the same time. you would need to disable either dial up or broadband in order to use it separately.

Sure you can use the Broadband and Dial-up at the same time ( I have used Juno Dial- Up and Comcast Broadband at the same time). But if you try to use Yahoo Messenger to try to log into the same Account, using the same ID( on Dial-UP and on Broadband), it will not allow you to connect. Yahoo allows only one instance of messenger to be running at a given time.

I use both simultaneously on my computer. I have a broadband modem and a built-in modem on the Toshiba laptop.

The reason to use both is I have websites on a free hosting company and can only update them using the host's dial-up connection. Most sites I can update using broadband.

no when you install broadband you hav to disable your dial up otherwise you will mess your computer up? anyway why would you want to use dail up wen u hav broadband?

i think you can have both connections on 1 computer but using 1 at a time

Acually, a COMPUTER can do this.. but windows has issues with it =)

Besides that its pretty rare where you *might* want too.. (secure VPN on one port, public facing on another ect..) Better solutions for it but just trying to answer the question.

infact there is a setting in dialup connection "negotiate mutilink for single link connection select the tab and connect.
Thats all.
you can establish multilink dialup connection.
