Nope.

Each code is different and UNIQUE to each phone so you'll have to pay for it, you CANNOT get it free!

Last time I checked, 3 wanted over £100 to unlock a phone which is so not worth it.

You'll have to go to an independent (NOT Carphone Warehouse or Phones4U) phone shop (i.e: a local one) to get it unlocked. Most charge just £10 to unlock but 3 phones may cost more.

There's this 3G Forum (http://www.3g.co.uk) place that you could ask this question on and they may be able to help you out more.

Good luck.

:-)

Take it to someone who unlocks phones. Probably only cost you £5. Stop being tight!

3 phones tend to be very difficult to unlock, even if you pay for it. Local phone shop here actually said it was imposible, but I don't know how true that is.
