When Cliff Floyd returns to the lineup from being on the disabled list, the Mets front office has said that they will certainly return Cliff to his position and bench Endy. What's your opinion? Should the Mets take care of Cliff? Or should the Mets let Endy play?

This is a great problem to have.

Let Floyd play.

I love Endy Chavez and he's been great for us this year, but having him on the bench, that would make a world of difference.

He cant hit, he can field, he can run and having a guy like that for late inning defense and pinch running and pinch hitting would be very valuable for the Mets when they get to the playoffs.

LETS GO METS!!!!!!!!!

Its 12:06, the game is about to start!

They will definitely start Cliff.... but that's not to say Chavez won't start in right or anything.

I like Chavez better because he's fast and has been a great hitter in the clutch. Floyd hasn't been hitting, and seems to have been in a slujmp the whole season.

If he continues the slump as the season ends, you may see him on the bench instead of Chavez. My opinion is that Chavez should play...

It's great having both Chavez and Reyes on base, isn't it?

The problem the Mets have is, they have four left handed hitting OF's...For right now I would lean towards playing Chavez and Green more, and picking my spots with Tucker and Floyd...

You have to like Chavez's defense much better than Floyd's and Endy is having the better year hitting...

Chavez - BA-307 OB%-349 SLG-443 OPS-792
Defense -RF(range factor) LF+RF-2.23 CF-2.78

C Floyd -BA-245 OB%-330 SLG-416 OPS-746
Defense -RF(range factor) LF-1.87

His walk-off double made me a believer. Start Endy, he's younger. But at least we now have a good OF, we only need pitching now.
