Scientifically yes. It causes vibrations in the air, which in turn create sound. On top of that, the question only asks if there are no humans around, and makes no mention of various animals with the ability to hear. So it does make a sound.

Yes it does. Whether you are there or not it will make a sound. You have no effect on wether or not that tree makes a sound.
