sure, while i personally kinda have a love/hate relationship with them but i'll give you 10 reasons not to buy one... although if this is for your kid or something i'm going to post reasons WHY to buy one

reasons to NOT buy:
-nano is too small in my personal opinion. i'd probably lose it.
-due to it being small you'll probably put it in the wash and waste all that money.
-you might drop it in waffle batter (long story but you never know)
-expensive
-addictive
-you don't have the little booklets that you get with CDs and you can't see the cool art on the CD...

reasons TO buy:
-easier to use than carrying 10000 CDs and a CD player
-small so you can put it in a pocket
-easy to hold if you run or something
-will automatically stop if the earplugs get pulled out
-fun to play with (but can be addictive)

ummm.. yeahh..

-waste of money
-constantly have to charge the battery
-Apple with come up with something better by xmas that's twice as expensive and make it the new "IT" thing to have

Never ending cycle....they come up with a gadget, you buy said gadget, they add a feature, charge twice as much, you buy new gadget with new feature, 6 mo later...new feature and/or new gadget, up price again........

I have a SanDisc MP3 player. It's less expensive, holds just as much music in multiple formats and is easier to use. IMO

I would do some comparative shopping first....
