Meat Loaf is the stage name of Michael Lee Aday (born Marvin Lee Aday on September 27, 1947), an American actor and rock and roll singer. He is particularly noted for his smash hit album Bat Out Of Hell and several famous songs from movies. Meat Loaf is also the name of the band he fronts as lead singer. In 2001, he legally changed his first name to Michael.[1]

his name is Marvin Lee Aday. His Father never called him by this, coz being brought up in Texas ( the south) most people are called by their initials so his Father called him M.L. which is how he became Meatloaf. He also played Eddie the brain dead Zombie in "The Rocky Horror Show". He also once, believe it or not lol, got his head stuck in a steering wheel after a dare (hmmm)
