Remind ourselves that there is such a thing as individual responsibility.

Most things in your life that are provided by any level of government -- local, state, or federal -- represent an abdication of your personal responsibility. When we turn those responsibilities over to someone else we also give up individual freedoms in the process.

Electing the "right" politician or getting rid of the "wrong" politician is not the answer. Turning to government as the solution is not the answer. I cannot believe that at least one of the answers provided to this question actually suggested that we, as individuals, should be subject to the insane whims of the United Nations. That is sacrificing personal rights and responsibilities to the extreme.

Clean up your own act and start taking responsibility for your own actions. Raise your family with that understanding. Start thinking about the rot that you're absorbing through the entertainment media and ask yourself how that benefits you, your family, and the world around you. If you're a Christian, start living like one. If you're a Muslim, stop murdering those who don't believe as you do. If you're an atheist...well, try to find happiness on planet Earth, since this is your only shot at it.

Stop looking to politicians and government entities to save you from everything that is wrong in the world and recognize that they are usually the worst possible solution.

Then the world will be a better place.

I don't think enough pressure is put on the governments.

The UN is losing its hold because governments are bypassing it. The environment is screwed, and the US government in particular is not interested. They care more about the contents of theire wallets than the environment. But in 100 years what good will money be if we don't have a world to spend it on? If we don't have any natural resources to sell?

1. Elect a government which isn't blinded by money.

2. Join pressure Groups such as Environmental Defense.

3. March! March! March!

To love the next one as itself exactly and to try to be happy with the obstacles that the life imposes, to love the family and to love God. Be careful and be happy! Pablito.

Diana Ross - Do you know where you're going to?

Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you
Where are you going to? Do you know?
Do you get what you're hoping for
When you look behind you there's no open door
What are you hoping for? Do you know?
Once we were standing still in time
Chasing the fantasies that filled our minds
You knew how I loved you but my spirit was free
Laughin' at the questions that you once asked of me
Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you
Where are you going to? Do you know?
Now looking back at all we've planned
We let so many dreams just slip through our hands
Why must we wait so long before we'll see
How sad the answers to those questions can be
Do you know where you're going to?
Do you like the things that life is showing you
Where are you going to? Do you know?
Do you get what you're hoping for
When you look behind you there's no open door
What are you hoping for?

Learn from our mistakes and not go down the road of total destruction! Rebuild the justice system , get rid of crooked lawyers who drain our business. Improve our schools for our kids so they have a real chance to make a difference! Empower our cops again to do right...stop the limiting what they can do to criminals. Give rights back to people who deserve it....not bad people or terrorists!

Vote Democrat so that we can have balance back in the government. Not that the Dems are great and the Repubs suck but just for the simple fact that there is no balance in our government right now and if the Dems had all branches of the government like the Repubs do then they would be just as corrupt so we need to bring back balance government.

Respect the law, we have to stop using fossil fuel and instead use alternative sources of energy, keep fighting against the terrorists until they extermination. But for that, we have to terminate also all the god-based religions, we don't need them. Better believe in ourselves.

Hmm...

- We could try voting for decent political parties rather than parties that have proven their greed and corruptibility over and over again.
- We could support taxation of economic rent and the abolition of patent and copyright laws.
- We could teach our kids logic rather than pounding religion into their heads, and then let them make their own decisions.
- We could set up a non-profit, unbiased online news service, as an alternative to the biased, corrupt media we have.

There are some ideas to go on.
