Pandit Jawahar lal Nehru, son of pandit Motilal Nehru, born on Nov. 14, 1889 fought for Indian Independence following Mahatma Gandhi's Principals of truth & Non-violence.He played a major role in gaining Indepencence.After Indepence on 15th August 1947 He became the first prime minister of India.
