I think it has a lot to do with their popularity but they became popular because of their acting abilities! I love movies with Nicholas Cage, Denzel Washington, Sandra Bullock, Reese Witherspoon! The roles of these characters change to explore all abilities of their talent!

I am pretty sure I've seen all of Arnold Schwarzenegger's movies, and I enjoy martial arts films, so I am a big Jackie Chan fan, but I only own 24 of his movies on dvd and vhs. Some of his more recent films I have seen just haven't bought them yet.

Mostly Marlene Dietrich.
Maybe Your generation doesn't like her,
but for me she is the greatest actress ever.
"The Spoilers"
"Witness For The Prosecution"
"Stage Fright"
"Gigolo"
"The Eye Of Evil"
"In 80 Days Around the World"
And so on. She always seems to be
from another planet... You MUST watch
Madame Dietrich performing in
"Stage Fright" / an old Hitchcock-movie /
when she sings "I am the laziest girl in town..."
You wouldn't trust Your own eyes and ears!!!
And of course I like Peter Sellers, but
poor fellow died too early...
Never forget "Pink Panther" (all of them !!!)
and "Dr Strangelove" and of course
"Lolita" by Stanley Kubrick. And :
"What's New, P***ssycat?"

Wang Tsu-Hsien has definitely been in more movies I've seen than any other star. I have fourteen on DVD or VHS, and I saw several others at theaters. She is usually a sweet and innocent girl who can look so pitiful when bad things happen, e.g. being accused of murder in "Miss Hong Kong" or being shot in both knees in "A Killer's Romance". She is goofy as Jackie Chan's bumbling and jealous assistant in "City Hunter". In "Deception", she is Jekyll-Hyde twins. the evil one attacks Brigitte Lin with knife and shotgun when poison fails. She is a lady warrior in "The East Is Red". As you see, she is versatile.

I probably have seen more of Jackie Chan's movies than anyone elses. I'm a big fan and I own every movie he's ever made. Even the bad ones.

This is just a guess, but I would say John Wayne. I've seen many of his movies from westerns to war movies to human courage (like The Alamo).

I think mine would be either Will Ferrel, Owen Wilson, Vince Vaughn, and Ben Stiller....you can almost bet that you are going to see one of them in one of the others movies-example: Anchorman
