It's such a terrible situation. Wonderful that she's alive and well, but norrible what's happened to her, and what she and family now must face.
All I think I could say to her mother is 'patience'. She has waited so long for this, she never believed her daughter was dead. Now Natasha is found her mother must keep on with that patience. Just as she knew her daughter would, in time, be found, she must know that her daughter does need her and will come to her in her own time too. Patience.
I pray for all involved.

I have not heard anything in the news about her mother, just her father but I know what you mean. They must have come to term with her death years ago and then to be told she is alive and has been throuch such an ordeal must be very hard!

You echoed my thoughts exactly - What a mind bending situation all the family must find themselves in! The long term psychological damage to that young girl - and the guilt and misery her family must travel through! I would have thought that there is going to be a LOT of therapy and counselling to support them all, how do you put that one right, you cant can you?

IMO there is something fishy with this story - the mother was quoted saying some things that don't really add up for someone who has just recieved their child back after 8 yrs...

we all feel for her, but sympthay is not what she needs because we do not know how she is feeling and there is no point in trying to understand however im sure her friend and family are behind her and all we can do is hope that the 18 year old and her family can be together

Doesn't matter what I'd say because I can't speak Austrian.
Otherwise, I wouldn't know what to say, as I've not been kidnapped for 8 years.
