Java is a platform-independent Language. With java you cant develop GUI based application. But with Advanced Java ,So called as J2ee, which is now called J2E., You can develop Web Based Application. It also provide the information (Display Information) (not language in which the program has been written) according to the Area (Country wise as well as Major City)
