I'm 31 years old and I've never taken a break from eating. It's time to give my system a break. lol. But I don't want to faint if I'm on my treadmill, b/c I'm not eating solid food. Can you workout and fast at the same time?

I have done this cleanse several times, for up to ten days. I continued doing hard physical work with no problems, but I also rested a little more than usual. If you experience any flu like symptoms, it would be better to rest until they pass. The first 2-3 days are the most difficult, get past those and the rest is often cake.

It's not a good idea to exercise while fasting. The "lemonade diet" is actually called "The Master Cleanse". You should get the book (it's a small one) and read it before doing it. You should also know that it works very well for some people and not well at all for others. It depends on your metabolism.

You can, but you may find the results unpleasant.

Shocking your system is most likely to cause weight GAIN. I highly recommend against it.

You know how if you change a cat's diet abruptly, the cat will get diarrhoea?? Well, it goes worse for humans.

I'd suggest that you work more leafy greens into your diet, cut out starchy foods gradually, and then work on having a steady diet of vegetables, fruits, and small amounts of protein at regular intervals.

Picture this: A big bowl of steamed broccoli, carrots, corn, green beans, and cauliflower topped with a generous shaking of parmesan cheese!! YUMMMMM.
