hey i'm in the army and went through the same situation. Eventhough the money is great we decided not to rush into it. Marry him because you want to be with him forever not because you could use the cash. One of the guys on my team did that and he has problemms with his wife. The first year of marriage is important because that is when you two will learn the most about each other. So it is a whole lot easier to be there for it. But no matter what follow your heart.

Money in the Army!?!?!?! That is not true. They don't make a lot of money and the life is very hard on everyone. You are alone for months or years at a time. You should marry him because you love him. The money might not last long.

if you think marrying someone in the army will provide lots of money then you really have low ambitions.People usually don't go to the army for money unless there is no other options.most of the people i know including myself went for a sense of duty and possibly get a grant for ed. after the army.it's the ed. that helps you get money, the army is just a great first step.

Marry for the money or just because if you choose to but there are some things that money can't buy like peace of mind, love, honor, trust, etc. If those things are not a priority for you then boogie on down the aisle.

I have 2 kids in the military, there is not alot of money in it, just a stable paycheck, housing, no doctor bills, benifits are good. But you still have to do the work(Marriage), seeing you are primarily interested in the money aspect of it and that is why you are considering marriage, I'd say you aren't mature enough to get married right now...sorry!

What? You mean you could be rich on an Army brat???? Or is it you could spend all his money whilst he is fighting for our 'freedom'. They had a case like that on People's Court.

HA, if you are shallow enough to marry for money, I would suggest looking for a Doctor.

marry for love.
