I am at a point now, where the answer that there is nothing wrong with me and my husband physically, and that we should just relax, isn't cutting it. What questions or demands can should I try for now?

At 42 fertility drugs may be the only option. You may not be ovulating as often. Or your eggs are the last bit of the batch and aren't as healthy. Or you may have the same problem at 42 that I have at 20. My uterus tilts to the left. So does my husband's member. That means when we face each other we don't match up on my inside. You can tell what way you tilt with a harmless self exam. A little lube on your middle finger, one foot on the toilet, the other on the floor, go in and up into your vaginal canal. when your finger won't go in any further move it around until you find the firm smooth donut shaped surface. That's your cervix. Now what direction is it pointing? Ahh hah...it all makes a little more sense now doesn't it?

If you are being truthful on your previous posts, and I have no reason to believe otherwise, you are 42 years old, and you are not as fertile as you once were. Your risk of complications is higher and the risks to the child are higher for chromosomal defects as well as premature birth and a host of other complications. They are higher still if you use the fertility treatments.

Will this be your first child? I conceived my first child, without intending to at age 44, and endured eclampsia and HELLP syndrome, and was in danger for a while. My daughter is eight, and pretty normal.

Not everyone in a society has to reproduce to be a very needed and substantial contribution to the society. In fact, if everyone reproduced, it would probably stand this culture and economy on its ear.
