Oh, man...I have one. My best friend (who by the way just returned from serving in Kuwait) met a girl online a couple years ago. They talked for like 6 weeks, and finally decided to meet up and go on a date. He told me this girl was very sweet, and showed me a couple pictures of her (interestingly enough...all from the waist up). Anyways, he goes to meet her....and she DIDNT HAVE LEGS! WTF?! How the hell are you gonna talk to a guy for 6 weeks, and this doesn't come up?? I completely understand the argument that if she is sweet and everything, he should like her for who she is and bla bla bla. Thats fine...but come on, to not even tell him?? He was kind enough to finish the date, but it didn't go on from there. Man...I woulda like to have seen his face...lol
PS- Girls, if you are setting up a blind date, and you dont have legs....please tell the guy.

Are you talking about meeting through personals on the internet?
I have had many guy friends tell me the woman they met in person was 10 years older and 25+ pounds heavier - which I never get. Why would anyone put an older, thinner picture on, when the point is to meet people you like? Then right off the bat they know you are a liar & you will not get a second date. Just dumb!
Don't think it is only women who bend the truth, either: personally, I have met men that said they were taller (like 4-5 inches), which, again, is just stupid, shows you lie, and unlikely to get a second date. Also, have had guys misrepresent what they do for a living, and marital status ("Uh, I put 'divorced', but I am really seperated - I really will be divorced soon!" - Uh, yeah, probably when your wife catches you on a DATE! Loser.) And of course there are the many "Oh, you are so beautiful - this date is the begining of our life together, I can feel it" -AKA- "I want to get in your pants TONIGHT, Then...see ya! NOT!" serial one night standers. Why can't these types just stick to Adult Friend Finders? They wouldn't even be out the money for dinner & a movie then!
People: the more honest you are in your ads, the more second dates & possibly a relationship you will get. And I don't mean be negative - for example, you are not fat, you are ample, Ruebenesque, voluptous - being positive & creative are not lying, they are advertising!

My story wasn't about lies or evil, just a bad situation I should've seen coming.
I was in a chat room talking with someone for the second time, who was trying arrange a meet after half an hour of chatting. She lived four hours from me, but I had a reason to be down that way over the weekend, so I got her number and tried to call her when I was in town. She freaked out over the phone that I was white, and pretended she didn't know me.
She found me later in the chat room, said she hadn't heard from me...must've had the wrong number, she gave me the same number again. I told her she lived too far away for me to just come out there, but after two hours in the chat room she said--well, with all the time you've wasted here, you could be half way to see me by now--so I went.
I should've known by her slow responses in the chat that she wasn't a great conversationalist, but it turned into the worst conversation I've ever had over dinner. If I didn't talk nothing would be said. If I asked a question, I'd get a quick response and silence. Following this, we go to her place and she wants to watch a movie. There are nothing but chick-flicks, so I pick out Jerry McGuire. After fifteen minutes she decided that she couldn't get into a sports movie (it was her roommates and she hadn't seen it), so I let her go to bed and crashed in a guest room. We tried again the next day, and one of her friends seemed really interesting, but she didn't. And that was it.
Now I know--trade pictures, have a real conversation, and talk on the phone at least once. Still, it was only a wasted weekend and a tank of gas--it really wasn't bad enough to get me to quit meeting people online.

Met a woman online who was from Arlington, TX. Saw a few pics and she was cute. Drove six hours to meet her and when she opened the door, there stood a woman who was about 50-80 lbs heavier then her pictures showed.
Before going to a club we stopped at a liquor store where she pulled a bottle of green stuff off the shelf, largest bottle they had, and asked "You're going to buy this for me, right?"
Made it to the club and when we danced I honestly could not get my arms all the way around her. My hands couldn't touch one another. She thought she would table dance for me and when she straddled my legs she put so much pressure on my right thigh, I recovered from hip surgery over a year before, I thought I was going to cry.
The next day I offered to take her to breakfast before leaving town and on the way to the restaurant she decided she wanted seafood instead. We ended up at Joe's Crab Shack and we were sitting outside on the deck and we were watching the TV's. I turned to say something to her and when I did I caught her picking her nose. Her finger was so deep into her nostril I thought she was trying to pop her eye out. She didn't have the decency to excuse herself to run to the ladies room or go to the far side of the deck but decided to start digging for fossils right there at the table.
I took her home and the last thing she asked me was "I guess I'm not your type, huh?"
I had never looked so forward to that six hour drive home.
