I am considering it myself.........I have done extensive research on this subject and that is why I have not taken to plunge yet. There is a chance of decreased or total loss of sensation in the nipple area and the scars can be horrible. The one and only reason I am considering the surgery is because I have severe back problems. I am still trying to weigh the pros and cons and you should do the same. You can always set up a free initial consultation with a plastic surgeon and see what they say about it.....good luck.

I would consider it as you get older, it's definitely better to have average sized pert bo0bs than saggy larger bo0bs.

Maybe wait until the sag begins then seriously consider the surgery. Obviously having the reduction will also reduce the risk of back strain and damage. But you need to seriously consider - the surgery, obviously there are risks, but also it's quite a big drop from C to DD, and I would hate for you to be disappointed - I'm considering a reduction myself but I can't quite convince myself that I could cope with being 'normal' in the chest department (I wear an F cup).

Good luck whatever you decide x x

That's your personal decision but I have the same problem I am a dd and if i had the money and wasn't scared to do it I would get a breast reduction, because my back hurts all the time and boobs are all it seems people can focus on. But whatever your decision you have to live with it and I wish you luck no matter what.

If it give you physical problems like back pain or prevents you from doing certain things like sports, I'd say go for it. My friend also has DD and hates her breasts but she doesn't have back pain and they don't really get in the way. She just hates them because everyone else around her has ds and smaller. I don't think she should get hers done. Plus she is still young so who knows? Maybe she'll grow to eventually love them.

I had a friend who was even larger than a double d, and she had a breast reduction and looked great. She never regretted having it done. A 'c' is a good size, if you are on the slight side, but heavier women should go according to bone size, etc.

I am sorry, but I need to remind you that large breasts are a must in today's world. Women who have large breasts are held in high esteem by all. You may do whatever you wish but it is my humble request to you not to reduce your breast-size but to increase it further.
Please do not wear excessively tight or excessively loose bras as tight bras would harm your breasts and loose bras is like not wearing a bra at all. There is one more thing: Always remove your bra and panty while you sleep in the night (preferably sleep completely naked as it helps women to unwind).
Good luck.

the only way that would happen for me, that I would go smaller is to get a larger size bra that would give me a smaller cup. cos I love mysize and that's it.

It's personal choice really. I am an e cup and my breasts have never really bothered me and think of the money you will be spending if you have an operation like that done.

Absolutely !!!

You will save yourself a lot of back pain
You will have firmer breasts (like teenager firm)
And when you are 45 they will only be to your belly button and not down to your knees.

If I were you (I've been you in the same situation) I would definately do it because it could (and probably will) cause you other health problems in the future.
