Well, sometimes it may seem like it. But, you're laying in a horizontal position, and gravity doesn't pull the blood down like it does during the day. That is why sometimes you wake up and there is no blood on the pad....should you wear a tampon to bed (which is not recommended), you could take it out in the morning and it be saturated. Your flow does stop, however, when you are showering or in water (if you didn't already know that). Hope this helps!

No. Your Period don't stop when you are sleeping.

I've messed my sheets plenty of times, even with a pad, during the heaviest times of the month. But the flow is less, as the others say, while horizontal.

no,for some ppl it just slows down. Which is nice it means u can sleep thru the night and not have to worry about changeing ur pad.

No, however, it often slows down because you are horizontal and there is no force of gravity causing the blood to 'flow' downwards and also because your pulse and blood pressure slow when you're asleep.

No, it doesn't. I know it sounds gross but it sorta pools inside of you. So, when you get out of bed in the morning most likely a lot of blood will come out.

No you are laying down. When you are standing up it come fast because it is a straight downward to gravity.

No, it doesn't.

And a few brave (female) souls are "free bleeders," i.e. they go to bed without any protection at all. See:
