Dodge selling these lemons. I should have bought another Honda. I have a 1991 269,000 miles still gets 40 miles to the gallon and still running strong.

Your supposed to change the oil in the car every once and a while ya know!!

i don't know why you had to put an engine in it at that amount of miles,,it should have lasted way longer than that,,,i own a repair shop,,and i service some that have 2 -300.000 miles on them,,and there still going good,something must have went out on it to cause premature engine failure,,the most i have seen will last a long time,,as long as they have been well taken care of,,in one case have seen one go bad,,and it was because the man let his son drive the car,,and he try ed to make a hot rod out of it,,and blew the engine in it,,other than that,,like i said they usually last,,a long time,,Honda,s are good cars,,but if you ever do get it hot,,you will destroy the engine in it,,they wont take the heat,,the head will crack on it,,or warp,,if it ever gets hot,,maybe you,ll have better luck with the new engine in the dodge,,i hope so anyway,,good luck with it,,i hope this help,s.

I am sorry for your bad experince, but unfortunately every car or truck that comes off the assembly line can't be perfect. Sometimes faulty parts get installed without being detected, sometimes faulty parts can't be detected. This happens in all makes of automobiles not just Dodge.
