There is no easy miracle solution to your problem. Terro is a product that is available at any hardware store, home improvement center, and many general retailers. It will help but will not eliminate your problem. The bad news is that the only long term solution will require the services of a professional exterminator.

You also might want to consider getting an anteater and keeping it as a pet!

Good luck with your problem.

From the hardware store, get the small cans of ant killer. They have holes in them and the ants go in to eat the food in them which has poison. They take the poison back to their nests and kill of a lot of ants. Buy 6 to 10 little cans and put them on the floor wherever you see ants. It takes a while, but it works and is much better than spraying which only gets the ants you see.

Borax 20 Mule Team laundry soap. Place the dry powder in one of the ketchup squeeze bottles that you can find at any dollar store, put the dry powder int the ketchup bottle, you may have to snip off the tip to make the hole a little bigger.....apply the dry powder around the baseboards, cabinets anywhere you see signs of the ants, they will take it back to their nest and it will kill them....leave the powder lay for a few days until you no longer see any signs of the ants then vacuum up the excess powder. I use this remedy every year and it is cheap, you will have five bucks or less invested, and you can do laundry with the remaining laundry soap.
