True and in some states legal. In Ohio it's legal as long as the animal lives a full 24 hours afterward. Sick huh?

Absolutely true. However, a previous response is somewhat erroneous. It's not that it's legal or illegal to do, it's that it's not illegal in some states, a few being Ohio, Kentucky, and Florida. Also, it is possible to pass diseases between animals and humans thru sexual contact. I hope this helps.
