My manager wants to kick me out because she doesn't like my x-boyfriend coming over to my apartment "becuase he looks like he's on drugs" according to her. I have told him that he couldn't come over or be on the property for this reason but he still shows up but I can't help that i have told him time and time again to not come by here but he still does someone told her that he was over here during the weekend so she gave me a 3 days notice Is this considered harrassment or invasion of privacy for her to do this

I want him to be able to come by but she says he looks like he's on drugs I can assure you he isn't but it makes no difference in her eyes

What your manager should be doing is calling the police whenever she sees him. She has told him to stay off the property, so have you, so that's about as much as each of you can do.
See if you can get in contact with the Housing Authority in your area, I'm sure this violates the equal opportunity housing somehow...

The manager can move on the owners behalf to evict you. If you appeal to the property owner if its not the manager they can over the manager. If she does not like how the x looks that is not a valid reason to evict you as long as your in ther right then she is over the line. Most state law requires 30 day notice before eviction called a notice to quit, it surposed to give you time to correct the violation but in this cause you can still stay if your rents paid let her have the sherifs department serve you a eviction notice and take her to court.

Definitely not ethical. I don't know about illegal, but there's no reason for the manager to evict you.
However, if you or your boyfriend have conducted any illegal acts while he's been there, then there might be grounds for eviction.
But, if the manager can't prove anything, he has no right.

That's going to depend on the type of lease you signed and if you signed one at all. Read your lease agreement carefully to check wording on eviction policies.
If you don't have a lease agreement, it depends on the laws in you state but basically you won't have a great deal of protection from eviction without it.

If you've told him yourself not to come over, it's her job to report him for trespassing on her property. I would think that would come before kicking you out. But who knows. If you wanted to stay there that bad, you wouldn't let him in after you've already told him he can't be there.

You can have anyone you want visit your apartment.
Tell her too bad, and if she tries to evict you, you'll see her in court.
