it's a takamine!! is that a good brand?? it's all black and awesome!!! whats are your thoughts on this type of guitar..oh yea and it's acoustic!!!

Takamine brand guitars are great. Garth Brooks among many others play Takamine. They are usually pretty expensive when you get into the top of the line models. They are well worth it. Hope you enjoy it. I don't know what kind of music you like, but here are a few of my acoustic favorites: Keb' Mo', Jack Johnson, Corey Smith, John Mayer to name a few. Check them out.

Takamine (pronounced "TAK-uh-MEEN-ee" in the US or "TAK-uh-MINE" in Europe) is a Japanese brand of guitar with a fairly high standard of design, but their low-end acoustics are often made with low-to-medium quality woods (hence their affordability). They are among the better affordably-priced acoustic guitars on the market.
Their A-Top models (think BB King or Brian Setzer's guitar), on the other hand, are considered quite good by many jazz players and can range from $1500-$5000 in price.
Across their models, Takamines tend to have excellent action (the height of the strings from the fretboard) and good necks, making them immensely playable and an excellent choice for a beginning or technically-minded guitarist.

Takamine is a good guitar. I know a lot of players that use them.
I believe they only make acoustic guitars.

It's not bad, actually. I'm more of a drum guy myself, but the Takamine's are nice guitars.

yes it is a nice brand a really nice brand, nice judgement, if you want a step up though go for a taylor
