This one guy flipped me off when I changed lanes in front of him (I had to, my lane ended). Then at the next red light, when I got out and asked him to step out of his car to "discuss" his little gesture, he locks his door, rolls up his window and refuses to make eye contact.

I know how to merge, sdarp. When it's bumper to bumper, someone either has to let you in or you have to butt in. You're real tough flipping people off from in your car; someday you'll flip off the wrong guy. Be careful.

He thinks he can get away with anything since he's in his car. Then again, if you got out of your car to 'talk' to me, I wouldn't get out, I'd run you over or at least smack you with my car before I got out, so be careful next time someone has you POed. Expecting a fair fight or a sane argument in a road rage situation is extremely optimistic.

I think its amazing the way people do things they'd never do in public while they are in their cars. My personal favorite is the guys who drive past a half mile of cars lined up to take an exit, then sit in the lane next to the exit and put their blinkers on if they can't force their way into the line. No one would try that crap in a supermarket!

It might depend on you. I flip people off too who come over on me without blinking. And I hate dumb a$$es who wait until the last second to get over when they KNOW that their lane is ending. If you see a sign that says "Right Lane Ends in 1 Mile" start to merge then, don't wait. That is what causes most traffic jams, people who wait to the very last possible second to merge, then come over on the people who have already merged, or worst almost hit the person who has already merged. If you pay attention to the road signs, and get over sooner, maybe people would be nicer to you.

lol because they're secure in their car and usually cant back it up if you approach them with the problem. getting out of the car was the wrong thing to do. idk how big you are or anything but no one is safe anymore. he could have gotten out with a gun or knife. yes, it proves that some people are all talk and no show, but juss keep that in mind the next time lol

Cause their ego increases with engine size i'm sure. Sometimes it gets too big, bit like yours when you got out and then his ego just shrunk because it reminded him of bullies when he was a kid. And you can't reason with those!

...dude, that's called "road rage"

...you called the guys "bluff" but could've gotten knifed, shot, ran over, or wound up beating the crap out of him and going to jail, getting sued...

...you're just as guilty as him even though he started the whole thing.

...not healthy, man- anger is bad.
