The damage will depend on your health prior starting the starvation. You will utilise your body fat as source of energy. You will have electrolyte imbalance which may cause irregular heart beats, renal failure and hypoglycemia (low sugar) can damage the brain if it lasts for a long time. Try small meals, low or no fat or sugar, eat fruit and move.

You will only mess yourself up by doing this.
If you starve yourself deliberately, your body will only go into famine mode as a reaction, and start storing fat, meaning you will not get the result you want and you will only feel like such a failure ...
You need to join WeightWatchers or a similar organisation to learn about losing weight safely. What has also achieved amazing results is the Vorderman detox thing, I have been using it with some rather interesting results - yes, you have to eat lots of fresh fruit and veg, and cut out bread and cut down dairy and meat for a few days, but you will look and feel a lot better for it after a week! My mother aged 68 swears by it.
There is no 'quick fix' to this, I'm afraid.

Starvation almost immediately affects your liver, kidneys, and heart. When you go on crash diets of any kind, you have a 70% greater chance of having a heart attack. And you don't have to be old to have a heart attack. If you don't take care of yourself, you can have serious health problems that can be longlasting and often permanent. Karen Carpenter is an example. She was anorexic for several years, but she was actually healthy when she died of a heart attack at age 31 or 32. She had been through treatment for the disease and was gaining weight back, but the effects still caught up with her. Why don't you just eat normally and exercise?

You would initially lose weight, and then your body would go into "starvation mode" - ie panicking that it's not going to be fed. Critical organs would suffer as fat reserves are used and the next time you do eat you would balloon as the body would be confused and wonder when it's going to happen again.
Listen to the other posters - east little and often and excercise. So called yo-yo dieting isn't good for you at all.
Oh, and you'd also have *very* bad breath due to a condition called ketosis. Don't to it.

I tried that once but it only lasted like 4 days and i passed out and ended up in hospital. The doctor said it could lead to serious anorixia and when you eat again you gain a lot of weight and then that makess you want to starve yourself even more so dont do it!

well thats kinda stupid because if you stop eating for a week yes you would loose weight but then the next week you would start eating again and you would put more weight on so that isnt a very good idea and also how are we meant to know how much weight you will loose? its different for different people/

You would lose fat. You would also lose a lot of muscle and possibly do damage to your body. That's not healthy! If you want to lose weight, eat regularly but in more sensible portions and avoid fatty foods. Don't starve yourself. That's a bad idea.

Starvation is a severe reduction in vitamin, nutrient, and energy intake, and is the most extreme form of malnutrition. In humans, prolonged starvation (in excess of 1-2 months) causes permanent organ damage and will eventually result in death.
